The loss was Milwaukee's worst in a home opener since being shut out, 10-0, by the Colorado Rockies on April 6, 2015, and the Brewers are now 0-4 for the first time since that season and for just the sixth time in franchise history.

Although the Brewers weren't able to get their first win of the season, falling to the Royals 11-1, they did bring out the Brewers fans to celebrate the first game played in Milwaukee this year.
