By Wednesday evening, enough House Republicans remained opposed to the Senate-passed bill to effectively stall it.

While most of Ohio's representatives in the U.S. House appear to be voting along party lines, there may be a Republican holdout.

“This is not a ‘big, beautiful bill’ at all,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Tuesday after moving to strike the bill’s name. “It is really the ‘big ugly betrayal,’ and the American people know it.”
