Friends described Wilson as a “comedic genius” constantly pulling pranks on other members of the band, but also as someone who was all business in the classroom and on game days.

Southern University held a candlelight vigil Wednesday evening, nearly one week after Wilson’s death. The group lifted up Wilson’s family during this tough time with love and support. His tearful father addressed the crowd.
