Most of the Seattle Seahawks’ offense had some of their worst performances of the season in Sunday’s 18-16 home win over the Indianapolis Colts, but that doesn’

The Seahawks (11-3) were struggling on offense before Sunday. Seattle hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in the first half since Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 62-yard TD catch against Tennessee on Nov. 23. Its last first-quarter touchdown came in a win over Arizona on Nov. 9.

Phillip Rivers provides stability: It wasn't flashy by any means, but Rivers did provide the Colts needed stability at quarterback. He helped the Colts' offense sustain drives and kept the ball out of harm's way until the very end. Rivers also led a late scoring drive that gave Indianapolis the lead.

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Monday that Rivers will start again in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Jason Myers kicked a franchise-record six field goals, including a 56-yarder with 29 seconds left, and the Seattle Seahawks outlasted 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts 18-16.

Since last playing, Philip Rivers has had another child — he has 10 now — and one of his daughters has given birth.
