Joe Flacco is set to become a free agent in March. The veteran quarterback gave the Bengals life in the middle of the season after Joe Burrow suffered a serious toe injury that required surgery. He opened up about his mindset going into free agency during an appearance on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams.

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Joe Flacco has seen and done a lot in his lengthy NFL career. But the Bengals quarterback is now able to finally call himself something that he had never been before: a Pro Bowler.

One fascinating destination would be the Pittsburgh Steelers, who could be in the market for a veteran quarterback if Aaron Rodgers retires. Flacco has already played for the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals in his career, so the Steelers would cap off his AFC North tour.

Joe Burrow was named to his third Pro Bowl on Sunday. Burrow is set to join quarterback Joe Flacco, as well as wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as the Bengals' representation at this year's Pro Bowl. Burrow had also been named to the Pro Bowl in 2022 and 2024.

The Bengals want to retain Joe Flacco as the team's backup quarterback in 2026. After all, Flacco performed admirably after being acquired via trade, throwing for 1,664 yards, with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. Will Flacco re-sign, knowing he'd be locked into a backup role behind Joe Burrow?
