Luka Dončić 'focused on Lakers'

Luka Dončić dunked. No, really! With just under four minutes to play in the third quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard commenced a stack pick-and-roll with center Deandre Ayton, with forward Jake LaRavia hustling to set the back screen on Ayton’s defender.
The trade sent Dončić, who was the franchise cornerstone and a fan favorite in Dallas, to Los Angeles for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick. Davis has struggled to stay healthy since arriving with the Mavericks, and Dončić has continued to thrive for the Purple and Gold.
The Dallas Mavericks have fired general manager Nico Harrison, the executive who traded Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.
Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont "wants to make it up to us," the fan said shortly before the team fired Nico Harrison.
The on-court chemistry between Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves has been obvious since the Los Angeles Lakers acquired the five-time All-Star in February, but their bond has extended beyond basketball in their nine months as teammates.
