Rattler is a former top collegiate prospect whose draft stock plummeted late in his NCAA career. He ended up making seven appearances and six starts for the Saints in 2024, throwing for 1,317 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 57 percent of his passes. Not great.

Rattler's completed 25 of 35 passes (71.4%) for 251 yards (7.2 yards per attempt) with one touchdown and one interception.

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has acquired offensive lineman Luke Fortner from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for defensive tackle Khalen Saunders pending completion of player physicals.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, have been looking for help at interior defensive line since training camp opened.
