An updated tropical storm warning was released by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Wednesday at 4:57 a.m. in effect until 1 p.m. for Mainland Dare.

On Wednesday at 5:08 a.m. a tropical storm warning was issued by the NWS Wakefield VA in effect until 1:15 p.m. for Eastern Currituck.

"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm," explains the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 6:15 a.m.

An updated storm surge warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Wednesday at 10:58 a.m. in effect until 7 p.m. for Northern Outer Banks.

Three Irish counties have entered a Status Yellow warning with thunderstorms forecast throughout Monday and into Monday evening. With temperatures remaining in the high teens/early 20s it’s ample weather for thunderstorms to hit parts of the country.

A tornado warning was issued for the Stuart-Nechako region in north-central B.C. on Sunday afternoon. The warning, issued at 1:10 p.m. PT on Sunday, says forecasters are tracking a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a tornado.
