In response to the cancellation, Trump initially wrote, “I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!”

Jimmy Kimmel is exercising his First Amendment right as a U.S. citizen and firing back at Donald Trump after the President of the United States hinted his late-night talk show would be canceled next.

Kimmel, who has been engaged in a years-long feud with Trump, didn’t appear fazed by the president’s claim.
