Both men were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicles were both heavily damaged, according to police.

New Hampshire State Police are investigating a crash between a railroad plow and a tractor-trailer. The crash happened after 6 p.m. Monday in Groveton. Troopers said the railroad plow got stuck in the middle of Route 3. Police said the tractor-trailer was unable to avoid it and hit the plow head-on, losing its load of lumber on the road.

An initial investigation determined that the plow, operated by Joseph Letourneau, 22, of Derby, Vermont, was plowing snow when it became stuck in the middle of Route 3.
