Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, the company that purchased Big Lots, provided a list of 200 Big Lots locations across the U.S. that could stay in operation.

A court filing lists Big Lots locations in 15 states, including 46 in North Carolina and 17 in Virginia, that could remain open under the company's new owners.

It’s been roughly five months since discount retailer Big Lots filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. In that time, the company has closed more than 500 stores, cutting its footprint down to less than 900 stores as of February 2025.
