A Chicago police officer was hospitalized after he was struck by gunfire while driving in the Pullman neighborhood Saturday. The police sergeant was on-duty and driving a marked squad vehicle in the 11200 block of South Corliss at approximately 11:11 p.
The suspect was taken to Mt. Sinai with multiple gunshots to the upper body and was pronounced dead, CPD said in an update on Monday night.
