Gov. Abigail D. Spanberger ordered the flags of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia to be flown at half-staff on Saturday, March 14.
Flags across the Commonwealth will be lowered Friday.
The orders are taking place in Virginia, South Dakota, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Colorado and Pennsylvania.
