Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had a surprise guest in his private suite Monday night, and plenty of Cowboys fans were not thrilled. ESPN star Stephen A. Smith sat beside Jones as Dallas beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field,
Jones’ point was clear, though. Javonte Williams had the first game of at least 150 yards rushing since Dallas was a run-first team with Ezekiel Elliott in 2018. The Cowboys had more than 200 yards on the ground for just the second time since Brian Schottenheimer took over as head coach and play-caller last year.
On first-and-10, with 6:10 remaining in the fourth quarter, Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams slipped under Dickerson’s block and collapsed the pocket. That forced Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee to step up and run with the ball. He was tackled by Cowboys edge rusher Von Miller for a one-yard gain.

The Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 handing Philadelphia its fifth straight loss behind a three-touchdown performance from Prescott, who finished without a turnover.
If it wasn’t clear before Monday night’s 38-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, it is now: the Eagles won’t be buyers at the trade deadline. Instead, it’s looking like Howie Roseman and the 2-5 Birds will do something they haven’t done in a while and sell off some key pieces before the Nov.
The Cowboys and Eagles weren’t the only ones getting reviewed Monday night. So was the national anthem, Newsbreak shared and The Daily Mail reported. Saxophone player Hiruy Tirfe performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Lincoln Financial Field before the Eagles hosted the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
