Pospisil came up clutch several times in his final Davis Cup match. He hit a backhand return down the line to convert a break-point opportunity in the second set, held off Hungary with his serve and hit an ace on match point. Belgium has advanced to the second round of Davis Cup qualifying in bizarre circumstances after Chile tennis player Cristian Garin was knocked over by his opponent and refused to continue the match

Belgium’s Zizou Bergs broke Chilean opponent Cristian Garin for a 6-5 lead in the third and final set that put him and his country just one game away from progressing to the second round. WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Zizou Bergs crashes into Cristian Garin during celebrations.

Garin was given three consecutive time violations and lost the match while he was calling for his opponent to be disqualified.

Cristian Garin refused to continue his Davis Cup match after opponent, Zizou Bergs, slammed into him at the net, sending him crashing to the floor.

The incident happened during the third set of the match after Bergs secured a break in the 11th game to put Belgium on the verge of a win
