BALTIMORE, Md. (DC News Now) — Hundreds of flights are slowly starting to resume at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) after a snowstorm halted operations Sunday.

A strong chemical smell at a federal aviation facility temporarily prompted ground stops at three major airports in the DC-area on Friday, the FAA said.
