An eighth body has been found at a fiery Georgia highway crash between a semitrailer and van, Deputy Jackson County Coroner Dean Stringer said Tuesday.

A wrong-way driver on Highway 101 near Chualar caused a multi-car collision, resulting in two deaths and several injuries, as investigators seek public assistance to understand the circumstances leading to the crash.

Just before 12:45 p.m. Monday, the sheriff's office was called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 34 and 44, just west of Axtell.
