If your SSD is found, detected & recognized by BIOS but Windows 11/10 does not boot, here’s what you need to do to fix the problem: Enable Legacy boot on the BIOS. Reset the BIOS settings.

This allowed to set the SSD, and it turns out that the straight file copy worked fine. From hitting F10-Save&Exit, till desktop in Windows 7, it improved from 1.15m to 0.45m.
