IW weather warning for strong winds issued amid Storm Amy
A weather warning for strong winds has been issued for the Isle of Wight as the UK braces itself for Storm Amy. The Met Office alert is in place between midnight tonight (Friday) and 7pm tomorrow (Saturday). Storm Amy will bring a period of strong and gusty winds to parts of England and Wales on Saturday, according to the forecaster.
Islanders are being warned to prepare for a wet and stormy start to the week, with a yellow weather warning issued today.
