The city of Alabaster has joined a lawsuit alongside Tuscaloosa regarding the state's Simplified Sellers Use Tax program.
The City of Alabaster voted June 9 to approve Grant Humphries as the new police chief. Humphries has more than two decades of experience in law enforcement, all with the Alabaster Police Department.
