More than 150 workers at Portland International Airport will be laid off next month, according to a notice filed under Oregon's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification act, or WARN.
The terminations are due to the employer's contract with Alaska Airlines not being renewed and will be effective Nov. 17.
Portland's airport hosted the MCSO Honor Guard's salute to veterans returning from an Honor Flight to D.C., sponsored by the South Willamette Valley Honor Flight network, where they visited war memorials and museums.
