During a large-scale search for Smith on Thursday, members of Vermont State Police's search and rescue team located a body at approximately 1:30 p.m. in a field west of the campus near the college's organic farm in Cornwall, authorities said.

Vermont State Police reports that they have activated their Search and Rescue Team, plus more to help in the search for a 21-year-old Lia Smith.
