Windows will now attempt to synchronize the time with the global time server. If your PC fails to update the time automatically, scroll down to Additional Settings and click on the Sync Now button.
Internet Time Settings on Windows If you're using Microsoft Windows, you can configure your computer to automatically synchronize date and time settings with a time server.
PC clocks are notorious for not keeping good time. SymmTime, a free Windows application from Symmetricom, lets you synchronize your PC’s clock to any of numerous time servers over the Internet.
You now have to restart your computer again. On restart, open the Command Prompt with elevated privileges and continue with the following command to sync time for external sources.
In the Firefox menu bar on your main computer, click Tools and select Set Up Sync. The first time you do this, you’ll need to create an account with the Firefox sync server.
