The No. 1 ranked UConn women's basketball team won its sixth consecutive Big East Tournament in dominant fashion, 90-51, over Villanova on Monday, March 9, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The No. 1-ranked UConn women's basketball team used its defense to pull off a dominate victory, 100-51, over Creighton in the Big East semifinals at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Strong, who averaged 17 points, seven rebounds and five steals through three Big East tournament games (while shooting 68 percent from the floor), was named the conference’s Most Outstanding Player.
