The man who was shot is Jaime Gomez, 18, who lived in a room at the inn. He is continuing to receive treatment for his injuries Friday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The member of the Ludlow Police Department who shot Gomez is Chief Jeffrey Warfle.

Westminster Barracks is seeking the public’s assistance regarding the theft of approximately one-half cord of firewood from a residence located on Dover Road

Authorities have identified both the man who was shot and the Ludlow Police officer who pulled the trigger during an incident early Thursday at a local hotel.

Dunster was not located. Officers are asking the public to call the Berlin Barracks at 802-229-919, or leave an anonymous tip if they know anything. He reportedly has partial gray hair, is 6’1″ and weighs roughly 220 pounds.

LUDLOW – Vermont State Police say they are investigating the shooting of a man by a Ludlow police officer early Thursday.

The Vermont State Police is increasing patrols and urging residents to stay home as a significant ice storm is expected through the afternoon Dec. 29.

Vermont State Police stated that at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, troopers observed a motor vehicle violation on U.S. Route 7 in Bennington and conducted a traffic stop. Police spoke with the driver, identified as 29-year-old Anna Sarabia of Pittsfield, Mass., and noticed multiple signs of impairment.
