Hundreds of North Texans took in a drive-in movie at Texas Motor Speedway to help rebuild flood-ravaged lives in Central Texas."How to Train Your Dragon" may have been the feature film, but Central Texas was the focus.

Even as the number of missing people in the Central Texas flash floods drops to as few as three, recovery efforts in the Hill Country are expected to take months. Texas Motor Speedway raised $25,000 through a recent drive-in charity event to support affected families.

Following the recent announcement of a joint $500,000 donation from FC Dallas, Austin FC, Houston Dynamo FC and Major League Soccer to support Central Texas flood relief, FC Dallas is launching a series of its own additional initiatives to provide ongoing support for families impacted by the July 4 floods.

Many of Texas' reservoirs and lakes are near full capacity, with some jumping more than 30 feet since early July.

Just over a week after deadly flash floods swept through Texas Hill Country, the region may once again face a life-threatening deluge as slow-moving thunderstorms bring heavy rain, flash flooding, and rapid river rises to parts of central Texas Sunday.

The flooding over the Fourth of July weekend killed at least 18 people in Travis, Burnet and Williamson counties.
