Skype is bringing a new app to smartphones, computers, and tablets running Windows 10 on Monday, ahead of Microsoft's Windows 10 Anniversary Update launch.

Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10565 for Windows 10 on Monday that includes the Skype messaging apps the company promised during the run-up to the operating system's launch.

Restart computer. After computer completely reboots, reinstall Skype application again from here and then check if Skype microphone not working problem on Windows 10 still occurs.

Skype for Web, Outlook.com, Office Online and OneDrive can do voice, video calling without plug-ins when used with Windows 10's Edge browser.
