A 36-foot Christmas tree was installed on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids for the holiday season.

The city's Christmas tree was installed early Tuesday morning in Rosa Parks Circle, where it will soon be lit by over 50,000 LED lights.

A California couple is facing an $18,000 fine after bulldozing 36 Joshua trees from a piece of land where they plan to build a home, according to the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office.
