Microsoft Outlook, 365 and other services crashed Saturday, affecting tens of thousands in the United States and millions globally before services were restored in less than an hour.
Microsoft officials in a social media post late Saturday afternoon said that "a majority of impacted services are recovering following our change. We’ll keep monitoring until impact has been resolved for all services.
Microsoft Outlook was down across the board for a brief time on Saturday. According to DownDetector, as well as countless posts to social media, Microsoft’s email and calendar service wasn’t allowing users to open the service throughout much of Saturday.
Microsoft users experienced issues with Outlook on March 1, leaving thousands without access to email and apps.

Microsoft Outlook servers down, reports say
Users are reporting that Microsoft Outlook is down. As of 2:51 p.m., DownDetector reported over 18,000 reports of an outage. When users attempt to access their email on the website, an error message pops up.
