The 183 North Project is nearing completion, with no more daytime lane closures on the service road starting this week, and includes upgrades to drainage, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, and landscaping.

Georgetown is working on two projects to upgrade Austin Avenue: the rehabilitation of the historic vehicular bridges and the construction of separate pedestrian and bicycle crossings.

Early survey work is expected to begin as part of the multi-billion dollar plan to build Austin’s first light rail system.
