The New York Jets clearly have been thinking about the head coach position for a while. New York cut ties with former head coach Robert Saleh early in October after just five games in 2024. The Jets had a 2-3 record at the time and turned to Jeff Ulbrich to replace him.

Aaron Glenn is in the house. The job he was most interested in is now his, and he's already taking a deep dive into the workload as Jets head coach in bringing his staff together and micro-evaluating the roster with new GM Darren Mougey.

Glenn, 52, returns to New York as he has been hired by the team as their next head coach. His arrival was met with plenty of excitement because of his prior connections with the Jets as a player. Now his first day in New York is in the books with his introductory press conference that went down on Monday.
