PHOENIX (TNND) — A student was killed and another was hurt in a stabbing at an Arizona high school, according to officials. The Arizona Department of Education said the student, who was not identified, was stabbed to death on Tuesday at Maryvale High School in Phoenix.

A school safety officer for the high school was alerted by staff that an assault had happened in one of the classrooms, police said.
