Joe Flacco is set to become a free agent in March. The veteran quarterback gave the Bengals life in the middle of the season after Joe Burrow suffered a serious toe injury that required surgery. He opened up about his mindset going into free agency during an appearance on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams.

However, Burrow is expected to be the team's starter next season, and Flacco was only on a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns before getting traded to the Bengals. With that in mind, he recently appeared on "Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams," where she asked him about his plans for playing in the NFL.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields was invited to the Pro Bowl but opted not to play in the game and instead focus on offseason training.

Joe Burrow was named to his third Pro Bowl on Sunday. Burrow is set to join quarterback Joe Flacco, as well as wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as the Bengals' representation at this year's Pro Bowl. Burrow had also been named to the Pro Bowl in 2022 and 2024.

The Bengals want to retain Joe Flacco as the team's backup quarterback in 2026. After all, Flacco performed admirably after being acquired via trade, throwing for 1,664 yards, with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. Will Flacco re-sign, knowing he'd be locked into a backup role behind Joe Burrow?
