Damian Lillard has been a hot topic since the start of free agency after the Milwaukee Bucks waived him. The 34-year-old guard averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 58 games last season, but Milwaukee opted to release him as he recovers from the Achilles tear he suffered during the NBA playoffs.

LeBron James captured his fourth and most recent NBA title in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers. Since then, both LeBron and the Lakers have made repeated efforts to chase another championship, but every postseason run has ended in disappointment.

If LeBron James could convince the Los Angeles Lakers to buy him out, the Dallas Mavericks would be interested in adding him.
