Sheriff's detectives arrested a man on suspicion of homicide in connection with a shooting Tuesday in a south Sacramento neighborhood where an argument with an acquaintance escalated to gun violence.

Traffic is backed up on Interstate 80 after a crash and fire in Roseville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
