Sources say about 10 fraternity members and nine pledges were present when Caleb Wilson, a 20-year-old who died last week, others were punched and struck with small objects.

Southern University has implemented a student judiciary process after the death of one of its students. This procedure comes after Caleb Wilson, 20, of Kenner, died in an “off-campus and un-sanctioned Omega fraternity ritual”.

Southern continues to actively support the ongoing criminal investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s office into this alleged act of hazing involving members of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
