Shared on Vanessa's Instagram late last night was an initial look at the Kobe 3 Low Protro. The Eric Avar-designed Kobe 3 silhouette was released in 2008 as a mid-top. This will mark the first time that the Kobe 3 will hit retailers in low-top form and will arrive next year.

It's been more than five years since the NBA player died at age 41 in a helicopter crash alongside his and Vanessa's 13-year-old daughter Gigi Bryant and seven other people. Vanessa wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback photo of her kissing the basketball legend on the cheek.
