On Sunday, Jan. 12, one day before the news broke that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones talked with Colorado coach Deion Sanders regarding the Cowboys’ then-open head coaching job, a Buffaloes supporter fired off an email with the title “Whatever it takes to KEEP Coach Prime!”

Deion Sanders hired fellow Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to serve as the Colorado Buffaloes' running backs coach, the school announced.

Deion Sanders, who received inquiries last month from the Cowboys for their head coaching vacancy, said he has no interest in coaching in the NFL.
