A man accused of killing a woman last December, who was found outside a Stockton church, was committed to a state hospital this month.

On Pacific Avenue in Stockton, two large tree branches fell and blocked a lane for hours. It did not appear to hit anyone or damage any vehicles, but nearby, neighbors said a large tree limb crashed onto a parked car overnight. No injuries were reported.
