The Round of 16 matches of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup are now over with the quarterfinal line-up set in stone. Palmeiras beat Botofago in an all-Brazilian clash while Fluminense of Brazil beat Inter Milan.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup knockout-round bracket looks different than many expected entering the quarterfinals. Inter Milan and Manchester City were both knocked out of the competition, which leaves Chelsea as the only European side left in the top half of the bracket.

The second matchup in the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday, July 1 pits Monterrey against Borussia Dortmund at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
