Efton Chism didn't practice with the Patriots in Foxboro on Tuesday, as the team held its second and final practice ahead of Thursday night's preseason finale against the New York Giants.

Efton Chism. That's a name that has been said a lot throughout the spring and summer. And it's all good things as the undrafted rookie continues to make a strong case for a spot on the New England Patriots ' 53-man roster.

Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf said Chism comes to the facility at 5 a.m. to meet with wide receivers coach Todd Downing. Chism also previously said he spends time with veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins late after practice to continue going through the playbook.
