Air Canada withdrew its financial targets for the year as a strike by flight attendants entered its third day, forcing the country’s largest airline to cancel about 500,000 flights.

Air Canada has suspended its plan to resume flights and unionized attendants continued picketing on Monday, despite a federal back-to-work order.

The union representing Air Canada flight attendants says it intends to remain on strike in defiance of a back-to-work order from the Canadian Industrial Relations Board.
