It's done. Michael Bell, 54, has been lethally injected for the 1993 ambush murders of a young couple in Jacksonville in a case of mistaken identity.

Michael Bell, scheduled for execution July 15, is one of dozens of death row inmates who were students at Florida's infamously abusive Dozier school.

Convicted in 1995 for gunning down a Jacksonville couple thinking it was revenge, Michael Bell will be Florida's 8th execution this year on July 15.
