For the first time since July 30, the Milwaukee Brewers have lost a game. The Cincinnati Reds finally got the job done in toppling the beast that the Brewers have become on Sunday afternoon, though it took a late charge and extra innings to do so with a 3-2 win.

The Reds' Austin Hays hit a walk-off single after William Contreras delivered a dramatic go-ahead homer for the Brewers, ending Milwaukee's run.

In the 10th inning, Trevino also hopped up from behind the plate to gather a sacrifice bunt attempt by the Brewers' Blake Perkins and threw to Reds' third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes for the tag out on Milwaukee's Andrew Vaughn, the so-called "ghost runner."
