The trade market and free agent market are about to heat up one last time before the regular season. When teams cut down to 53, it allows some front offices to offer trades, avoiding other teams from poaching players. This also helps teams secure more picks for players they've taken chances on, who might otherwise go unclaimed.
Minnesota is in the market for wide receiver help. The Vikings are seriously exploring veteran receivers in the trade market, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday morning.
