After suffering from a rare spinal cord stroke about two-and-a-half years ago, a 24-year-old is gearing up to graduate from the University of Utah this week.

What started with a call to police about a man in a car brandishing a weapon turned the Provo Town Centre mall into a frenzy of activity on Friday.

During her brief tenure, Elizabeth “Betsy” Cantwell spent at least $661,800 in university funds, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
