The meeting at the White House comes after a dramatic summit between Trump and Putin in Alaska that saw the U.S. president welcome the Russian leader to American soil for the first time in nearly a decade and pull back from his threat to slap new sanctions on Moscow,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, speaking in Brussels on Sunday, said the current front lines in his country's war against Russia should be the basis for peace talks.

She also said that she will welcome Zelenskiy in Brussels later on Sunday and together will participate in a meeting of European leaders.
