Sep 23, 2024 · I am facing the same issue. Transferring from iPhone 11 to newly purchased iPhone 15 forced me to upgrade to iOS 18 in my new iPhone. ios upgrade got stuck for 5 hours. Repeated factory reset and retry the same process resulted in same issue. iOS 18 update is not complete in all retries. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Old phone is not usable because the eSIM already transferred Before getting stuck on the software update. The phone should completely transfer..THEN do any software updates.

Oct 9, 2024 · Seriously? This is my 4th iPhone and I always plug it in, turn it off at night, and it’s always turned back on. Today it did not. Why turn it off? It was my work phone and I did not want any calls in the middle of the night. No weird apps. Just got it a month ago. It’s brand new. Going to Support next. Insured. Getting a new one. Unacceptable.

I have to click many times "update" and "restore" until it gets the download started. "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "devicename". The network connection was reset.
