Jul 16, 2007 · My advice in laying out your curbless shower - wet room is as follows; 1). Recess your drain (I use Schulter's Kerdi Drain) 3/4" below your exsiting subfloor. 2). Add 1/2" ply over your 5/8" sheathing over the entire bathroom area. Prime new ply with self leveling primer.

Mar 31, 2018 · Curbless Shower on Concrete Slab. I'm trying to make my life as easy as possible yet end up with a good result. Right now I have a small bathroom area with a tub and a toilet. The tub is 36X60 and 34" from tub to the wall on the other side of the toilet. Everything fits but not spacious by any means. Right now the tile in this area is thick.

One side of the pan slope has no wall or curb to end on. The only solution I can think of is to pitch that entire side of the room ( 3'6"x10') so the tile can be level.
