A lot of water in the St. Joe River right now. The road heading into Calder is flooded. Flooding around here isn’t out of the norm, nor is flooding this late. However, NWS says the last time this area experienced a May flood was in 2008. | KREM 2 News

We’re delivering cleaner rivers and lakes for Lancashire. For Nelson that includes building a new two million litre storm tank. This will act as a ‘holding area’ for the extra rainwater that enters the sewer network during times of heavy rainfall, improving the River Calder and Pendle Water.
